Emele (pronounced eh-meh-leh) is a 2012 graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (Music Theatre Certificate II) and a 2014 graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (Acting - Music Theatre Stream). Her theatre acting credits include: for The Joan: Black Birds; for Griffin: A Strategic Plan; for Belvoir: Twelfth NightMother Courage and Her Children; for Parade Theatre: Hurried Steps, The Olympians; for NIDA: In the Blood, Kasimir & Karoline,The Light in the Piazza, Sunday in the Park with George, Woyzeck. Her television acting credits include: for ABC and Playmaker Media: The Code; and the television pilot No Redeeming Features directed by Toby Schmitz.  She produced the AV series, The Places We Call Home, for Pacific Islanders in Communications (PIIC), Cowbird & PBS. She has worked as a creative director, stylist & photographer with musicians such as Ngaiire, Sampa the Great, Wallace & The New Venusians. Emele has also written, co-directed and produced the short films Counter Face &  Pehe. Her visual art and film work exhibited at Footscray Community Arts Centre & aMBUSH Gallery in 2016.
